A very busy few months with highs and sadly lows.
A move to a new property in the area, the lovely Leicester Park - home of Ali and Rob Soster. Stable companions who moved with me are Kate Burgh and Wendy Allen.
Excitement in July with the purchase of the filly Warrawee Partee Time (Royal Hit/W Azzuree) a stunning saddle prospect who through a freak incident is no longer with us. Thanks to Pat Ryan for her care of the filly and Logans Insurance for their professional and prompt attention.
Rothwell Dazzling Dreamer has foaled a very correct and feminine part-bred filly by W. Bandanna I am delighted with her.

Ammerdown Braddock has been broken to saddle by Wendy and is now schooling to start competing 2012. He is for sale.
Have also been fortunate to have been given by a client, a lovely balanced style of stud book mare approx. 15.2hh. A race winner and proven broodmare with a sweet disposition. She is being sent to the fabulous Heir of Marwan for a 2012 Anglo foal.
National Capital Horse Show – Warrawee Mardee Gras won the Anglo class and went Champion Ridden Derivitive.
Foxxtrot has been sold to Scott and Olivia McLean. Olivia and “ Maxxie” appear to have formed a delightful partnership. I look forward to hearing of their progress.

Warrawee Mardee Gras won Ridden Anglo Mare/Geld 15.2 hh and over, we couldn’t have asked any more of him, he worked beautifully.
Many thanks to Jodie Peever who literally stepped on at the last minute to give Foxxtrot a taste of the arenas at his first major outing.
Thanks as always to Karinn Panuccio and special congratulations on her Heir of Marwan taking out Champion Purebred Stallion.
A busy few weeks but a lovely opportunity to meet/catch up with many interstate competitors. Warrawee Mardee Gras; Australian Championships - Australian Champion Anglo Gelding under saddle (2nd year running). Thanks to Angela Delamont who stepped on at the last minute. Top 10 Derivitive Novice dressage. Many thanks also to Karinn Panuccio (KP Arabians) who helped look after and prep Mardee over the two weeks. |
Warrawee Mardee Gras had solid performances at the Arabian National Show in November. A win and second in dressage even with few little "Mardee moments!" 2nd in a strong big Anglo class and a placing in the Baskhan Memorial Sash, we were very pleased with how he coped with his first time under lights. Rothwell Dazzling Dreamer has been sent to Warrawee Bandanna to introduce more Arabian blood, for a 2010 foal. |
Black Horse Farm Polka has now been sold to Lisa Goodall at Wyatt Park Stud. Lisa had previously leased Polly as a broodmare, she has now purchased her for a "schoolmistress" pony for the family.
